Thank you to all of the amazing families and friends who came to support our first graders at their showcase today.
I’m sure your students have told you about the hard work they’ve put into creating process and documentation boards over the past two weeks. If you didn’t get a chance to come, the boards will be in the hallway and classroom until the end of the school year.
We are working to get a copy of the musical to share with those of you who were not able to see it.
Our students were excited and proud to share their work with you! One of the most important parts of our expedition was finding an authentic audience for sharing our work. That was the driving force behind our work at the Columbia Heights Farmers Market. Knowing they would share their work with and try to persuade the public, our students pushed themselves to do their best work. That said, one cannot underestimate the power of sharing their work with their families. The energy was palpable today. Thank you.
